But imagine a world without access to books and basic educational resources.

NOT everyone comes away from an overseas holiday with a mission to educate an entire village but Leichhardt's Pauline Browne-Cooper did just that.

In 2004, while on safari in Kenya, Ms Browne-Cooper and her friend visited Nyadorea, the home town of their driver. While there she was faced with an image that changed her life.
